Commitment To Safety

RiverView Construction, Inc. respects the demands that each client may have for their specific need of additional safety training. Weekly toolbox meetings are held at each job site. As well, we have regular on-site safety inspections by a private consulting firm.

Safety Objectives

  • 1. Perform work incident free
  • 2. Perform work without injury to the general public or to site visitors
  • 3. Perform work in compliance with River View Construction, OSHA and any governing body safety rules and site policies.
  • 4. Perform work without any damage to property or equipment.
  • 5. Work together as a team to achieve zero accidents. Each individual is responsible for their own safety as well as the safety of others around them.

Our Safety Approach

  • We set measurable safety and risk-reduction goals
  • We monitor the success rates of project managers as they implement our safety policies
  • Our safety training includes Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OHSA) Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) and supervisory training
  • Our safety and health are OSHA - and United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) - compliant
RiverView Construction receives 10 year safety reward

OSHA Region 4 - Weston 4 Partnership. Commendation for implementing an effective safety and health program that resulted in very low injury and illness rates during the construction at the Weston 4 Power Plant.

2007—RiverView Construction, Inc. receives “Outstanding Safety Performance Award” from Acuity Insurance. Only 5 companies out of 250 in the state of Wisconsin received this award for outstanding safety in the workplace.

2004—RiverView Construction, Inc. receives “2004 WUCA Safety Award” for outstanding safety performance 50,000 to 100,000 Man Hours.
